| PⅡCP

Procollagen II C-Terminal Propeptide (PIICP) has been used as a biomarker to investigate cartilage damage and repair in rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, and human and some animal models. The concentration of PIICP in cartilage is directly related to the synthesis of type II collagen.

| Recovery

The recovery of Human PⅡCP spiked at three different levels in samples throughout the range of the assay was evaluated in various matrices.
